Thank you, Standard Magazine, for the wonderful coverage of gloriously green life and design in Austin, Texas! I'm particularly proud of the grand fabric spread shot at Johnson's Backyard Garden.
I was initially drawn to organic cotton textiles because I knew I wanted to design fabric but I wanted MY product to be something that was just as safe for the environment and consumers as organically grown food. It's really exciting to see how much progress organic food has made in the past decade and it's thrilling to be working in an area that is closely following food. As consumer awareness of what we put INTO our bodies becomes more and more mainstream, we're starting to see more people understand that what surrounds us is equally important.
Mod Green Pod has been a leader in this growing movement and we're honored when others recognize the connection between our products and the food, health and sustainability movements. As these photos prove, it's a joyful place to be!
