Today, Mod Green Pod must say goodbye to our fabulous staff member, Shannon.
Shannon has been with us since the very early days of the company and has been on board with us for the big roller coaster ride of the past year. Shannon kept Nancy and Lisa going when we each had new babies taking up our time and brain capacity. We'll always remember her for getting us through those exhausting, tough few months! And in recent months, Shannon has been there to help Mod Green Pod grow by leaps and bounds.
Thank you, Shannon, for everything you have done. We wish you great luck on your new adventure and know you will be a great success!

PRESS RELEASE: MOD GREEN POD "SPROUTS" NEW COLLECTION
Hip Green Textile Company Releases New Line and New Muses
Austin, TX, September 4, 2007 – Just in time for fall design projects, Mod Green Pod is back with an irresistible new line of hand-silkscreened organic cotton home textiles, the Sprout Collection. Featuring three new prints in luscious colorways, this new collection proves once again that you don’t have to sacrifice being gorgeous for being green.
In the year since Mod Green Pod’s debut, co-founders and sisters-in-law Nancy Mims and Lisa Mims haven’t just been growing their business—they’ve grown their families too. While establishing MGP as the premiere organic cotton home textile company, Nancy and Lisa each had children.
Wanting their babies to be surrounded by safe, sustainable and beautiful products, Nancy and Lisa take pride in releasing a new line of swank textiles that push organic from hippy to hip. To underscore their commitment, they even named the new Sprout collection after their own “sprouts”: newborns Adelaide and Atticus, and six-year-old Clara.
Featuring three new prints inspired by elegant plant forms, the Sprout Collection coordinates with Mod Green Pod’s debut line. Clara’s graceful vines curl and coil down the length of the fabric. A large scale pattern, Adelaide updates Japanese blossoms with Mod Green Pod’s signature sprout. Rounding out the line, Atticus’ stylized sprout motif intertwines with itself to form a captivating pattern.
Unwilling to sacrifice style and quality for safety and peace of mind, Mod Green Pod proudly uses 100% organic cotton that is grown, milled, printed, and finished in the United States, and it abides by strict global organic standards.
Mod Green Pod’s textiles and wallcoverings are available to the trade as well as direct to consumers. To see the new line, visit the Print Collection page at our website: www.modgreenpod.com.
