Future Craft Collective project on Craft blog







Our friends at Future Craft Collective have an ongoing guest blogger spot on Craft's Summer Camp and for their most recent project, they used Mod Green Pod's bloom fabric to make a meditation pillow. Check out the concept and the instructions at Craft!

more Before & After goodness from MGP's very own Susan

After the headboard, Susan tackled a bigger challenge and gave a ratty set of dining chairs a glamorous new lease on life. Be very thankful that the photos aren't scratch-and-sniff because the "before" chairs just about knocked us out when Susan first dragged them back from the junk shop. Luckily, once she stripped away the foul fabric and original padding, the chairs had sturdy (and odorless) bones. She gave them some sunny yellow paint and stapled some Grand Jubilee licorice to new cushions and voila!

DIY: Susan's headboard

If you have ever called our office, chances are that you have had the pleasure of chatting with MGP's Jill-of-all-trades, Susan Rowe. In addition to keeping us in order, Susan is a super talented, hands-on designer who isn't afraid of a new project. A few months ago, she brought 4 incredibly abused chairs back to life with paint and new fabric (I mean, you should have SEEN the chairs before she redeemed them!) and she built this adorable headboard from scratch, using MGP's Butterfly Jubilee:
