Thank you, Katherine!

Sadly, we had to bid adieu to our fantastic, talented summer intern, Katherine. In her short time at MGP, she helped us move into our new space, prepare for the new collection's arrival and organize our random thoughts and notes into tidy spreadsheets.

Thank you so much, Katherine, for everything!

Oh, and we love the tote you made with MGP scraps:

Sneak Peek at the Mod Green Pod Studio

Our Boston studio is in an old piano factory in the South End neighborhood, so we’ve got lots of neat original features like wood floors and exposed brick and this large metallic door which we’ve adorned with swatches of our patterns.

Here’s a peek at some other corners of our office.

Wallpapering our new office

Part of the fun of moving into our new office earlier this summer was decorating it. We knew we wanted to wallpaper one wall to give the plain white room a splash of color and pattern. We picked Butterfly Jubilee wallpaper in Licorice/Earl Grey and we’ve got before/after and process photos to show you how it was all done.

Jose did a great job wallpapering a wall in our former studio space so we asked him back. We suggest using a professional to install Mod Green Pod wallpaper. The first strip goes up in the middle of the wall and he works from the middle outwards.

In addition to lining up the pattern during installation, Jose also cuts the paper to fit around awkward utility pipes and electrical outlets. All Mod Green Pod papers require trimming to 27” width before you install them. We recommend using the highest quality cellulose paste.

Almost done!
